Guess they don't want the awnings opening while being delivered to the dealers. Actually pretty impressive how proactive they are on getting this fixed. On the newmar forum a member was contacted by his dealer about the issue and it was replaced within a few weeks. The repair involved drilling out a few Rivets and removing the bad motor. New motor gets rivets and done.
I am sure dometic is having trouble getting supply out quickly, and the delivered coaches surely get a priority as damage could occur.
Hopefully it doesn't cause too much delay, can't imagine what the lost $$ to Winnebago is with All that inventory finished and waiting for a simple part.
