Quick question for all the 35A with a W24 owners. The heating vent on the floor right of the door and next to the lounge chair, can you see into your storage bay? You might have to open the storage bay door or put a light on but I can see all the way down.

Was it designed this way or did someone forgot to add something? I have an appointment in Forest City August 7 and would like to know if I should bring that up with them.

Thanks.

Sounds like someone forgot to connect a duct!! Its not going to give you much heat that way.

I'm not sure, but could it be a quick and dirty way of trying to heat the storage compartment??

Yeah we have the same vent....Have no clue why it's there. I checked with two other 35a's and they both had it also....

Ours is on the W-22, so chassis doesn't matter.

Please let us know if you find out!!

I believe this is the return air for the Aux Coach Heater.

Thank you everyone. I think I will try to block it up with something (don't need the heat) because right now it is just letting the hot air in. I will ask Winnebago service about it come August 7th.

Thanks again.

Hello: We too have a 2005 35A on a W24 chassis and also have the same situation you described. I seem to recall that the delivery technician stated that it was normal. Not sure of it's value other than to allow air exchange between the compartment and the cabin. Never really worried about I guess. We love our 35A
Regards
