Yes, you are correct. You see, the coach builders, in order to keep aesthetics working correctly, will paint everything you can see, from the ground. That means a radius, as in the front and rear caps, and the sides from the gutter rails and radius's above them too. That scheme makes everything "blend" and not detract from an over all good and well designed appearance.
Now, just above the radius's, is a white gel finish for the entire roof. Why paint it, and waist money that you'd have to charge the customer, and, it would NEVER be maintained anyways, if you don't have to???
