Hex Wrench LOST

I lost the motor cover hex wrench on my Winnebago Vista Motorhome. Does anyone know the SIZE hex wrench i need for my 2008 motorhome. I need to get the motor cover off.

Welcome to the forum. I remember that wrench as I used to have a Winn. I don't recall the size but I moved your thread to the Winn. Forum to see if someone here can assist.

Unless you need a super big size a whole kit from a place like Walmart is cheap just like the quality but it should work with no problem to just take the cover off.

Or do this.. First give it a light coating of cooking oil.. The press in some modeling clay

Carefully remove modeling clay, Sholud be the right size and shape.. Take to tool store.. Match

Joyce, I don't have a "mic" aboard, but using a tape measure, mine ( 04 Adv) looks to be 5/16"...rgr...

5/16 is the proper size.

It's a 5/16 hex key. No. you will not find one at Home D'Po, but I found an ample supply at True Value, & I bet the same will apply to Ace Hardware (These are real hardware stores). I could not find one at Harbor Fright either. I bought 2 just to be sure one could always be found in the upper storage section of the doghouse.
