I looked at a 2006 itasca Suncruiser fully loaded with the chevy engine and has 31,000 miles I am a bit concerned about the miles, asking $98K, should I be?
Any info would be helpful, I don't know if this is a good deal or if this is a good coach for that price.

Sounds kind of high based on what little I know about it so far. Late last summer I bought a very clean well maintained 2005 model year 39' Bounder diesel with 13K miles on it for $68.5K. So to me $98K for a 2006 gasser is more than what I'd pay. There should be a number of good deals out there if you look around. Good luck on whatever you decide to do.

the price seems kind of high, but the mileage is aprox 5k per year. Depending on who you are that could be little or a lot. That doesn't seem to be high mileage to me. But, opinions are like "noses" we all have one.

You don't say what model.

A 2006 35U low retail is about $78K, not $98K. A larger model would be worth a bit more.

So yeah $98K sounds high.

Anyone familiar with or have knowledge on the Itasca Sunova IFD35J is $99K a decent price it is new with 1400 miles, just not familiar with Itasca
Also a 2010 Itasca Sunova IFD37L for $109K with 1900 miles?
We are trying to find a good coach for the money and it is starting to get overwhelming.

It sure can be overwhelming, Rich. I assume both of these units are new since they only have typical delivery miles on them.

Others might have insight as to the prices you mention but what is MSRP on each? Most folks report buying a new coach for somewhere between 20% and 28% below MSRP. We bought ours for 23% under sticker.

If you settle on the make and model you want, Google it and see what other dealers across the country are advertising them for. You may want to consider traveling a bit to pick one up if you get a good deal.

Then there's always the "purchase used" strategy for controlling cost... but what fun is that?

Itasca is Winnebago and even though they didn't invent the RV they sure as heck perfected it. I've never heard anyone with a Winnebago say they wish they had bought something else. If the price is good for you and the unit has the features you want you could do far worse.

Shoot for low retail on used, expect 25% off new.
Expect about the same off a new 'left over' coach (2010).
At a given price point, an older coach will have nicer stuff & more features.
Look back a few years to get a feel for depreciation.

IMO you cannot go wrong with a Winnebago product. They are excellent coaches and post on the web: product manuals, diagrams for wiring, plumbing etc. The customer service people can tell you everything about your coach when given the unit number. And they are really helpful when you call them. I would not hesitate to buy another new or used.
