Post Light sensor? '05 Voyage 35D

I have a 2005 Voyage 35D. Can anyone tell what this sensor is for? It is above the TV in the rear bedroom.

Looks like a sensor for remote control to the front maybe or a hidden camera
Or even maybe a sensor for zone 2 heat or AC but hey are not usually that high

That should be an infrared repeater to allow control of the DVD player up front from the bedroom. You should find the other end of it adhered to the bottom of the DVD player and sticking up in front of the 'eye' on the player.

I now think it is the IR sensor. I’m going to check it out. Thanks for the replies.

Chris

Thanks

I found the other end where you said I would. There is also another end on the driver side compartment. Not sure why I would have two

Perhaps in case you had satellite equipment or something on that side? The signal from the bedroom is presumably split to go to both transmitters.
