Like magic, an entire herd of 2009 Winnebago products suddenly appeared - it seemed like one minute the area by Hwy 69 was empty and then - poof - they were there.
Pictures here in our gallery.
Winnie is really proud of their Journey 34Y full-wall slide touting ~345 square feet (forgot the exact number) and it will for sure generate lots of interest.
If anybody is serious about a particular model, I can take more detailed pictures - send me a PM.

John,
Did you notice the Adventurer Unlimited on the UFO chassis near the entrance next to the tent with the Cadillac under it? Just checked the Winnebago website, and its not in it. It will be interesting to get inside it.

Interesting to see the Journey available in a shorter unit now. Wonder if Winnebago is anticipating a trend toward smaller, lighter and more fuel efficient motorhomes?
The 34Y is slick... love the placement of the TV. Wish I had $200K lying around that I didn't know what to do with!

Thanks for the pics John.
We're looking at downsizing to either the View or the Navion....Waiting for the full slide in these units when Winnebago will debut these in December.

One of my friends is a long-time member of the Dealer Advisory Panel. When they announced a couple of years ago that they were going to "manufacture no DP's less than 40'" he told them they needed to rethink the issue. Evidently they did - with a little prodding from fuel prices and the customer base.
About 7 or 8 years ago, they made some really nice 32' - 34' DP's, and then they quit. If we hadn't found our 36RD, we would have bought another brand. We were perfectly happy with our '01 Monaco Knight 30J - except the chassis was a disaster from a driving standpoint. (Imagine a 31' DP with a shorter wheelbase than a View!!)
And . . . John: If you get a chance to look at the Era again . . does it have the swivel seats in it?? My friend thinks it does - and if so, we're going to retrofit our View with them.
Thanks!! Norm

You won't see it on the website because it was a limited run and when they sell out - that's all there is. Lichtsinn has 2 Limiteds in stock each with an MSRP of ~$160,000.
These units are very nice indeed and we had the opportunity to visit inside before they came over to the GNR.
The new outside look of the 2009 Destination is beginning to grow on me.
By in large Winnebago has great looking lineup of Class A motorhomes.

John: Jane looks real good next to that Horizon. Is there one of those in your future?
The line up looks sharp for '09. Thanks for the great pics.

Tom - I wanted to take some inside pictures yesterday evening after the opening ceremony, but the line was always about three or five waiting outside. I'll get some pictures as soon as I can get access without crowds.
I'll see if I can get specs, prices, etc on it.
