Promaster Chassis Solis Pocket transmission issue
Love my Solis Pocket! Or I did until the transmission fell out! This happened in mid-July. Still not fixed. Here's what I've learned along the way:
- The 2021 Promaster 1500 had the transmission replaced at 5k miles.
- About 160 miles later is was back in the shop for further work on the transmission mounts.
- We bought the van at about 5700 miles. No disclosure of transmission issues.
- After three months without any progress, I found that there are 4700 of those transmissions on back order with none being manufactured.
- Our $80k investment sits in a Ram dealer parking lot 2500 miles away with no sign it will ever be fixed.
