The whole assembly must be made of unobtanium. I thought I had an issue with mine 2 years ago but it was caused by me trying to cut a corner and tapping into the power lead (since rectified). I was looking for a replacement and remember finding one but it was extremely expensive so I just gave that idea up.

This is what it looks like

This is a picture of the compass component. I just don't know where in the RV it is located.

I have a dash that has a bubble in it that is removable with access to the wiring and electronics underneath. It’s mounted under there on mine.

HI have a 2004 Itasca Horizon 4AD and my compass sender is located in the compartment above the driver seat.

You need to remove the vinyl or wood cover panel that is funny shaped and probably stapled shut.

Just pry out the staples and your front cap will be exposed... with your compass sender mounted upside down... and the arrow facing forward.

Notice the type of wires used for the compass and temperature sensor. I mention this, because if your sensor is not found then maybe you can trace the type of wires to find your sensor.

To calibrate your compass you can refer to the attached .pdf.

I have a question for you: Where did you find your Accutech Temp sensor? I have not been able to find mine since the wires disappear behind the dash? Can you help me with this?

See datasheet attached and if you want to buy a new one you can do so on Amazon for $203:
