TV swing arm which is best

We are about to move into our 2004 Vectra 40ad, I'm going to replace the old tv with our 32" Vizio, I have tried to reseach what everybody used but
it was toooo much for this old guy.

The AD model has the tv behind the pass. seat. So what is a good swing arm
and how did you attach it.

Thanks in advance.

Phelps

I used Level Mount brackets DC30DJ, my tv hangs from the overhead in front of the passenger. I used the existing tv frame, added angle to the side pieces, then put two horizontal angles across these pieces, which I mounted the bracket to. The tv does sit in front of the plastic bezel, but the swing arm allows us to adjust it for best viewing and store it flat against the bezel for traveling. We take the tv off the wall portion and use it in the house when not traveling.

Big key for any mount is, tv weight (LED ones are really light), VESA mounting holes on tv and bracket.

I just use the mount that Best Buy sells.. It is well built and I see only one issue with it or any other

There are two precautions I highly recommend Both are the same issue

1: LOCK THE TV IN PLACE when traveling,, Mine has brackets I built to catch the "Feet" (I modified the base some by removing un-needed parts, this left two feet like brackets) and I cross bunge cords in front of it.

2: TIGHTEN the hinge bolts EVERY TIME (Well check and tighen as needed) you move the thing.. I've had them come out 3 times so far.. Thankfully the cords and brackets held the set.

I have a 2005 Horizon 40AD and replaced the TV you are inquiring about. Here is a link to my web site showing my installation:

I purchased this swing arm mount that fits up to a 37" Plasma from this place for about $30 with tax and shipping.

It works fine.

We used a Sylvania heavy duty articulating mount #SYL-MA3210B that we bought from Amazon.com. It's rated for 80 lbs of TV and the Vizio 32" weighs way less than that so lots of over-engineering. We've had it in place now for over a year and no problems at all.

I use the Bello 7465 for a Sony 32" up front and a Vizio 22" in the play room. It works.
