We have the Itasca 32K which has a U shaped dinette. We absolutely love that dinette. I haven't seen any other models with that type of dinette. I wonder if that is something that will catch on.

They were in all the coaches at the Tampa RV show last month. I think all the manufacturers see something on a coach and everyone copies it. This year everything is European cabinets(yuk!) and marine knobs on the doors.

Our 05 Cambria had the U shape in the slide. Has it's good and bad points.

Our family spends a LOT of time sitting around the table talking after dinner. The U shaped is so much more comfortable than the traditional.

The new Tour 40WD has a U-shaped dinette. Looks interesting but I would have to see it in person to really determine whether I like it.

I really like the U-shaped dinette and wish it were available for our 35J. They just seem to have much more space than the booths.

They do. Four in a booth was a tight fit. Four in a dinette is a very comfortable fit.
