I see a couple of you out there are from Michigan and have a Winne 35J as well. We are looking to head to the UP with our 4 wheelers. Any recommendations on where we should stay, we would like to be close enough to the trails that we don't have to trailer the 4 wheelers. Thanks for your suggestions.

We are taking our 35J out this weekend as well, weather supposed to be dry and in the 80s. We love it!

So where did you end up going and doing while you were in the UP?

Talk about a "bump"...lol !! I was just looking for campgrounds in MI that are open all season and found a few with snowmobile trails right from the campgrounds. I would imagine they would work for ATV's as well. I can find the sites if they are still needed.

We just got back from 6 weeks up there in the UP.

We have been going up there the last few years to keep cool when it gets hot here in Illinois.

We stayed in the state forest where it was free camping. We had to drive 25+ miles for phone service, gas, and other neccessities.
