Volume Winnebago/Itasca Dealers?
Down Texas way the MHSRV dealer has super prices on their brands? Is there such a dealer for Winnebago or Itasca products anyplace in the USA?
Thanks,

I don't think there is much in the way of super prices on new rvs as you always get super depreciation...you just need to learn how the discounting range works and how time of year and location works.
The better pricing and value is found in the higher end used units from private sellers, but you need to be good at your due diligence, and if the private seller doesn't have clear title, or thinks their rv is a diamond, or didn't maintain it well...it will be a tougher deal and a higher risk buyer beware.

I don't know if the prices are "super" but because this place is only a couple of miles from the factory- there's nothing on the odometer when you buy it.
Winnebago, Itasca, Era New - Used Motorhomes for Sale, Iowa RV Dealer - Lichtsinn Motors
Happy hunting!

That would be camping world the largest Winnebago dealer, not sure I would buy from them but the do sell the most. Strangely they seem to be the only dealer that can advertise prices lower than MSRP

Winnebago dealers are few and far between. The seem to send most of their sales to CW. One reason I probably would not buy another Winnebago as you almost have to get CW to service it.

Thanks for all of your input guys. We have decided to cut the dealers out and go private seller. That eliminates sales tax in our state and certainly a big junk of depreciation. We have found other brands that are new that we could afford but we will be happier staying with a brand we know from past experience. Thanks so much again,,

I didn't know that. Here in Michigan the Winnebago/Itasca line seems to be sold only by General RV. They cover MI and northern Ohio. Maybe that's because CW isn't real big in this area. We have found a good local dealer, non-Winnebago, who is more than willing to work on any of the installed items, such as a/c, stove, etc.

Actually, we have a sales & use tax in Texas, so you'll have to pay the tax when you register the vehicle -- unless you mean you are from a neighboring state.

If you are in S.E. MI what's the name of the place. Always good to hear of competent repair facilities. Thanks

The dealer is Lloyd Bridges RV, in Chelsea, MI. We bought a Class A, a DP and a Class C from them and were always pleased with the service. I would have bought the Winnebago from them if they were a dealer. They also just did the set-up to make our Honda CR-V towable.
