Patt,
As you've probably heard, "If it's too good to be true..." I don't know anything about National RV or National Vehicle Marketing but, DON'T do it! When we sold our 2006 WGO View, every scammer, spammer, con artist and BS shoveler in the world tried to get me to either give them the View or send them money for selling it. If you have the slightest doubt, post the email here (with personal info redacted) and I'll bet someone will have seen it or some variation. My favorite was the guy on an oil drilling ship at sea who wants to buy it sight unseen.

As others have said, take a deep breath and don't let anyone rush you into a decision. Good luck.

PS - I just Googled National Vehicle Marketing. Check out their Yelp reviews. Even the BBB won't accredit them and they accredit anyone who can fog a mirror.

Patt; you haven't told us where you are, nor the year, make, model of what you own. Do this, because you never know who might be able to do something for you.

You have to be around 70. With your home in negative equity already, you have very little to concern yourself about a credit rating...so if the unit gets re-poed, it isn't the end of your financial world as you know it.

Creating your own ad for Craigslist and other sites isn't difficult if you have a digital camera.

Give us information on the unit and we'll all chip in with opinions of what a good market price will be.

You aren't alone.

Patti,

Stay Open -- we highly recommend PPL Motorhomes. 1-800-755-4775
Used RVs, Motorhomes for Sale, and Consigned sales - PPL Motor Homes

They are a very reputable MH consignment company based in Texas; they are in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio. They consign with owners in ALL states and can pick it up ETC. We just sold ours through them and they were excellent. Highly recommend them.

You might want to take a look at this website A Women's RV Forum run by Women RVer's! • Index page It's a Woman's RV Group and has a "For Sale" section, "Trading Post." Many of the members have RV's like yours and are frequently upgrading. (I used to work in the Clear Lake region, nice lake except when it turns green - LOL)

Please stay away from Motorhome Specialists. I was skeptical about the reviews I read regarding them just trying to get the sale out the door but it's true.

I purchased a $110,000 motorhome from them. They rushed us through the paperwork saying all the time that we would "take a test drive as soon as someone's available - but until then, lets do some paperwork"

During the test drive, we noticed a check engine light on. They said it was common but would check on it. We noticed a couple of other things too and they said they'd take care of it. We stayed in the RV for the night and left on Sunday, when they were closed.

20 miles outside the dealership, the check engine light comes on. According to Ford, all they did was turn it off. They didn't even look what the error was. They didn't fix any of the mechanical stuff we asked them to but we had to get back for work the next day.

Here's the bottom line. they will say anything to scam you into taking the unit. Once you drive it off the lot, you're not their problem any more. I drove my unit 1 day and it spent the next 45 days in the shop and it's still not fully fixed.

Motorhome Specialists will tell you every lie in the book to get you out the door. I would have gladly spent a few more bucks for a different unit had they been forthcoming but now my life's purpose is to protect anyone from buying from Motorhome Specialists. Please protect yourself and your investment and go somewhere else where they will be truthful and honest and stand by their word and products.
