We're in Coeur d'Alene, ID, but leaving tomorrow morning for Cranbrook, BC. We hope to see the Banff and Jasper areas before slowly heading home by June. Left CT in October and have enjoyed touring the Southwest (didn't need to shovel) and the areas just west of the Rockies.

We are in Grand junction CO visiting relatives until week after next when we head for Lake Cascade sate park where we will be volunteer camp hosts again for the summer.
Sure hope it warms up some before we get there.
They did delay our arrival a week so the snow would have time to melt some more.

Right now we're at home - for a whole week!
Last week we were in Limon / La Junta, CO; and the week before that we were in Pacific Junction, IA.

Just a note to let all my winnebago travelers know about a great place to stay in Durango, Co.
We just pulled in to United Campground in Durango Co. We have been here before and requested on our reservation for a site front row towards the RR tracks.
Well , we arrived and I got a perfect front row site, 50 amp. and wifi. It looks out on the beautiful pine covered, red/grey formations of the nearby mountain. Grass area in front of us, maybe 1/2 acre of tent sites. No one there.
The train from Durango/Silverton just passed in front of us. everyone waving, maybe 75 feet in front of us. This is an old origional coal fired steam engine. Fantastic.
I just poured my Toddy with just one sip from it and my wife said, 3 days is not enough. Go get their 1 week special discout deal.
Well I,m here for a week now and there is so much to see and do. I am on a roll.

Kind of in limbo right now as our stick house at Lake Berryessa is up for sale. So we are just doing a few days here and there close to home when we can.
As soon as we sell this place we are moving to Pahrump, NV to (famous last words) build our last house.

Left Zion couple of days ago and now in Pahrump,Nv. at Pahrump Station RV Park. Tomorrow my wife and I will head for Death Valley with another couple we are caravaning with. Then to Tonopah, Nv. and Oregon to enjoy the Premier RV Resorts there. Then we will head to Idaho for a gathering in Orofino, Id with the local Good Sam group. Got to stay home in Moscow, Id. until Escapees in Wyoming and GNR later. Probably have to sell the house to pay for the gas.

Stuck in the stick house here in Georgia right now. Stone Mountain park this next week and then off to Myrtle Beach, SC the following weekend and will be there until the Saturday after Memorial Day.

This is Great. We checked in at the Flatwoods RV park in West VA. Pulled up to the top of the HILL, got hooked up and it started to pour. Perfect timming! Watching the sky clear now. The MOM just finished putting together some Pu Pu and we're enjoying an adult beverage. Free Wi Fi and a clear view of the southern sky. GO FLYERS! Some shopping tommorow, and a steak on the grill. It doesn't get any better than this. 5 moredays. HEHEHEHE. The first time pulling the toad up all these Mountians. Just hills for all you west coasters. Gas is about 389 around here. I'll fill up after we leave, heading North to visit a friend in Ohio. Hope the weather didn't effect her. Then home. Later.

Here is an update on our trip from Washington State to Virginia. We stopped at Pismo Sands RV Park today near Pismo Beach, CA. Moments after our arrival a WIT RV Club pulled in and is parked next to us. They are the Lone Cypress Winnitascans. They invited us to their social hour this afternoon and we had a nice visit. We felt at home as if we were with our own WIT Club, the Rainier Ramblers.
On Wednesday we move on to LA where we will fly back to Seattle, WA and pick up our grandkids and fly them back to LA for a week long stay near Disneyland.
