Antenna Booster 2018 Minnie Winnie

We have a 2018 Minnie Winnie and not first owners. Someone suggested I make sure our "antenna booster" is on. I cannot find it in any of our owners manuals where that might be. I was told it most likely is where the coax cable connects to the camper from the TV.

Section 8 is entertainment and certainly has lots of things to know! The location and how to use the button is on page 8-4?
You will also need to know how to read the meter and how to adjust it for best picture.
Way too much info to get across in a few posts!

Hi Shawna,
It should be on a ceiling area with a coax connector on the same plate. Pressing the button will light-up a green LED.

Actually on a Travel Trailer it could be on a wall or in a cabinet near the TV. In many motor homes they are on the ceiling. In fact, my motorhome has two. One on a cabinet and another on the ceiling, go figure!

It could be anywhere is the easy answer. If you are able to trace the tv coax back to where it connect to something other than a splitter you may have found it. Not sure about newer units but in the past the booster was wall plate size had a connection for coax, a button to push to turn the booster on and off.

Good luck

Hey Shawna, can you verify which RV you have?

You’ve said it’s a 2018 Minnie Winnie motorhome. But you put that it’s 17’ in length in your Profile? But the Minnie Winnie does come in 17’ size. And before I merged your two posts together you had posted in the Travel Trailer forum.

So, to give you valid answers we need you to tells us exactly what you have. Do you have a Class C motorhome or a travel trailer?

We may be confused and maybe we are making it harder than needed?
It's likely one of those little things that we can look at and still not see it?
So maybe a picture of what and why it is hard to spot will help, whether motorized or trailer?
What you are searching for is the faceplate like an electrical outlet except with a coax connection and a tiny little button switch!

We are kind of guessing but I would expect to find this in a cabinet likely up front, maybe over the windshield on Motorhome?
The trick is the tiny little button that is almost hiding behind the finger! That needs to be on if using the antenna or off if using cable.
When it is on, there is often a light on the panel just under the roof antenna which lights. Once that indicator light is on, you can begin to adjust the antenna by turning or using the gain adjustment on that plate.
If it has indicator lights, get as many LED lit as possible as that indicates stronger signal!

Post #3 is the correct answer.
