Parts should be able to tell by your serial number.

According to the 2001 Adventurer brochure it has an 18,000 lb GVWR, so my guess would be the W18.

Sorry, but I'm betting you don't have a W-18. Most likely you have an 18,000 GVWR P32 chassis. NOT the same. Easiest way to check is to look under the front end. If you have IFS (coil springs and air bags) then it is a P32. ALL the W-series have a solid I-beam front axle and leaf springs. Also, I'm "pretty sure" the W-18 was not produced until around 2007 or later.

If you want POSITVE info, just post the last 8 digits of your VIN # and I'll get you the "build sheet"

Hi ED:
Thanks for your information... I think you may be correct . As you mentioned when I looked underneath the front it has the coil springs and air bags.. here are the last eight digits of the VIN # 13334285.
Thanks
Dave

Dave: those last eight are for a 2001 P32 chassis 18,000 GVWR with 4 wheel hyd disc brakes. The rear axle is rated at 12,000 lbs. Hopefully your parts house will get you the correct pads & rotor (if needed). If you want the entire build sheet, send me an email to [email protected] and I'll reply with the info as an attachment-it won't display correctly when sent as a PM.

OBTW, there are no open recalls on that chassis.

Chassis

I looked at a 04 Workhorse chassis last year and it had a straight axle.
Don't know if that was the case with all workhorse chassis that year
in all brands of motor homes.

When I had a 2000 Fleetwood with a P-32 chassis, I just gave Napa the chassis # and they broght up the parts on their PC.

I'm very happy with my Ford chassis.

Best wishes.
