Lichtsinn, Forest City Iowa...I ordered mine there-Great folks, honest ,competitive..they make it real easy to buy.
There is also a competitive dealer in Ohio-(might be Dayton)
Look up Winnebago on Dogpile..they will show right up

When we started our search we went to RVtrader.com and searched out the unit we wanted.
After finding the more competitive dealers we reached out and began the process.
We ended up buying from our local dealer as the were willing to match the best price.

Thank you all.
I checked the Lichtsinn website and found their price about $82,000 for what I am interested in.
Now that gives me extra money in my pocket so may look at a bigger model. I will check local dealers in Florida when I am ready to buy.

I would check at several dealers. We contacted Lichtsinn and they were the same price as my local dealer. I contacted Lichtsinn again and they wouldn't budge from their price. I talked my dealer down another $5K. It really just depends if they want you to buy from them or not.

It works best to come up with a % of discount. i.e., they discounted my coach 26% at Lichtsinn.
I have heard other folks declare 30%.
Once you get that number-you have all you need from them. It works particularly well in instances where you might-or might not want an option.
Don't forget the Dealer Fee! Don't let it sneak up on you, as well as delivery fees or other gotcha scams.

One of the things you need to keep in mind when purchasing out of your area is the service.
While most dealers will service your coach under warranty many will put those who purchased their coach ahead of those who didn't.

I wish there was good service near my home.....but, it's just not available (that I know of) in South Florida.
Matter of fact....I would not let them wash my MotorHome at the places near home.

Well I guess I looked at the price incorrectly. I noticed a large 50 grand down payment or trade so still looking for the best price.

Lichtsinn gave me about 24% off MSRP $221,300 to $169,500 which my local dealer would not quite match. I am picking it up July 18 and staying there all week for WIT Club Grand National Rally - Overview | Winnebago International Travelers. Looking forward to driving it back to California myself rather than paying a driver $1,500 to do it for me.

23% from Lichtsinn, 28% from my local dealer(floor model but they had to make changes for me to accept, remove washer/dryer and range/oven, replace with cabinets and just a range)
