Another New Member 2020 Micro Minnie 2106DS

Hi, all. My wife and I are happy to join the group of Winnebago owners. We just purchased a like new 2020 Micro Minnie 2106DS. This is our first Winnie, but we are far from new to RV’ing. We have been married for 38 years and we honeymooned in our first RV, a 17’ Terry TT. Until COVID, we have not gone more than a year without owning an RV. We’ve had everything from a 13’ teardrop to a 30’ 5th wheel. We have never ventured as far as the east coast with an RV, but have traveled in most of the western states, from northern Washington to southern Texas and a lot of places in between. We were getting ready to upgrade our last RV, A Lance TT when COVID hit. We had put our trailer at the dealer on consignment and put a deposit on a new slightly larger Lance. Because of the pandemic, we decided to hold off on purchasing a new trailer, but our old one sold right away. We just now replaced it with the Winnie. We have reservations for our maiden voyage, five days about an hour+ from home. I don’t anticipate any problems as it’s obvious the previous owners took very good care of it. We are looking forward to a few more years of RV’ing. Chuck W.

Hi Chuck,
Wow, that is quite a long history of RV-ing. In looking at the brochure for the 2106 Dual Sofa, it appears to be a very comfortable floor plan. It will be interesting to get your impressions of your first trip in a Winnebago.
Welcome to the forum.

Thank you.

Many thanks, Eagle 5. Beautiful rig you have. Hope to see you out on the road one day. We’re in Washington a couple of times each year as our good friends live there.

Hi Chuck,
I am seeing so many RVs traveling through South Bend, I believe we have become the drive-through tourist capital of the world (ha-ha.) I'll keep a weather-eye for you.
Thanks, Eagle5
