Aqua Hot

Hi all, I am new to this site and excited to belong. I have a 2020 Horizon 42Q and absolutely love it. My heat didn't work when i went to use it, it is an Aqua hot system. I took it in for repair and had to pay almost $1k for repairs. They said the nozzle was plugged and the disk was damaged. What is the disk and how does it get damaged? How often should the Aqua hot be serviced?
Information is appreciated.
