Former Sailor, Now Minnie Owner, New to RVs

Hello,

My wife and I bought our first RV, a Minnie 2250DS, just over a week ago. We sold our sailboat, a 32' blue water cruiser, a few years back and finally made the leap and bought the trailer after quite a bit of waffling.

The boat gave me lots of experience with 12v electrical systems, propane, and the limitations of being "off the grid", but the boat did not have air conditioning or a furnace or refrigeration. I just hope the trailer never needs a bilge pump!

We've already taken our first trip; two nights at Ludington State Park and two nights in a national forest campground a few miles north of Ludington. The trailer performed well and the trip went well, but it did raise a few questions I'll post soon in new threads.

Jim

Great place to camp. I grew up on Hamlin Lake. Welcome and enjoy the dry land.
