Greetings From Kansas new to us Winnebago Vectra

Greetings to all,
We pick up our new to us Winnebago Vectra coach on Wednesday. This big 40' foot rascal is new to us. We've been pulling a 34' foot travel trailer since 2020 and decided that it was time to upgrade our camping/RV experience. We are excited and happy to know that there is a resource here for folks like us that are new to this. I hope that I don't bonehead too many things... ha ha ha
Let's roll...

Glad to see some folks from that area! Pleasant memories of Fort Leavenworth and Shawnee! Way back but still favor it!

As far as mistakes? The only folks I know who make mistakes are the ones who are actually trying to do SOMETHING, so I favor folks who might make a few!
Have you found the Winnebago home site:
https://www.winnebago.com/

Tons of online info under the owners tab!
As far as the learning curve coming from trailer to motorized? My biggest hint might be to watch the batteries really close to make sure they are not getting run down to an early death!
There are sneaky loads left on ---even when we turn the battery cutoff switch to "off"!
That can kill a battery if we give it time like while stored! there are little points like that which are skipped in the manuals!

Welcome and questions are what keep forums going!
