Hello Minnie Winnie Owners 2018 Minnie Winnie G31

Greetings, to all kindred spirits out there! My name is Hal, just retired January 2024.

My wife (Lorraine also retired) and I are looking forward to starting our National Park Tour, starting June 2025. Last Friday 5/24/24 we purchased a 2018 Minnie Winnie G31 with only 4K miles.

All systems have been tested, the camper is like new. We are starting our "shake down" cruise this Friday 6/7/24 to New Hampshire (Laconia bike week).

Looking forward to the xc trip next year and making many friends.

Cheers,
RV-Risky Venture

Greetings RV-Risky Venture,
Four thousand miles after six years just might be a low-mileage record! Was it also stored in a barn?
Welcome to the forum.

Thank you for the welcome reply. Don't know about how it was stored, but is so clean and pristine in every way, yes may have been stored inside.

I still have my original 2019 batteries. How are your 2018's batteries holding up?

The house batteries are physically in good shape and have an apparent date stamp of 9/23. They are holding charge well. However, we have not really put the house bats under any real load for more than an hour or so. First "shake down" trip is next Friday 6/7/24 running up to New Hampshire for a week.

Yes, my dealership told me I could leave my 2019 Minnie Winnie plugged-in indefinitely, and I have done so. My House Batteries (two Group 24 NAPA Lead/Acid batteries) run about 13.05 VDC when plugged into shore power and things settle-down to maintenance mode. I believe the 2018s are the same, but I would check with a multimeter to be sure.
On a monthly basis, I do need to add water and keep keep the battery tops clean.
