Mounting a TV in a 2024 Access 30BH Travel Trailer

I have a 2024 access trailer, so far love it!!!
I didn't get a TV installed and getting ready to install a mount. I hear no difference during tap/knock test but just heard to try and magnet.
If metal backer, should I use the screws that came with the mount or metal screws?

Thank you so much.

Hi and welcome,

If your Access TT didn't come with a TV it might be best to call Winnebago Towable Customer Care to have them send you info on where a backer would be located and what it's made of.

Here's the phone number for Towable Customer Care:

(574) 825-8052
Winnebago of Indiana
201 14th Street
Middlebury, IN 46540

It says on the wall, backer location. Not the exact wording but you get the idea
Thank you for the number, I will give them a call.

You may already know this, but here's where Winnebago installs "Optional" TVs in their Access 30BH TT. So, the backer would be in that wall.

I don't know for sure but I would expect that the backer would be made of wood not metal. But that's only based on my past experiences. So, don't take that as more than my opinion.

I still think that Customer Care may be able to email you the exact location and details for the install.

Yes, that's the exact spot I'm looking at. I didn't trust what I heard, hollow sound, so haven't put a screw in yet.

Again, only my experience, but that usually means the backer is immediately behind the sticker. And, again, I'd expect wood.

Calling Toyable support is the way to be sure.

Their hours are 8-5 eastern time, so closed, but planning on calling in the morning.
You have been great, thank you!

Again, thank you creativepart!!! Calling them worked out great and they gave me schematics that cover almost every inch of the trailer.
Note; the sticker was slightly higher then where the backer was. The gap between the wall and the backer (15x15 plywood) was large enough to allow for the hollow knock.

TV is mounted successfully and because of your help I have a great number to call for help.
