New 2020 Minnie Winnie 22M!

Just traded in our 2014 Airstream International 25FB for a 2020 Minnie Winnie 22M. We've had 5 tow behinds over the past 15 years (TTs and 5th Wheels) and although we loved the AS, we wanted to try a motorhome for a while. With 2 teenagers we tend to take quicker trips and expect to get more use out of it. Really happy with it so far, drives about as easy as my pickup and I can even do a three point turn in my driveway!

I am sure there will be the usual minor problems on the first few trips so looking forward to getting some advice on this forum.

MW 22M

Minniejon, congrats on getting a 22M, and I applaud you getting it with the E450 chassis, something I don’t have and regret it because it limits my ability to tow anything.

We chose the 2018 22M because we felt it was the best of the various manufacturers that make similar models, better design, better features and better quality. I’m still in love with our rig, and it’s been tough to not yet go out camping this year. I have made a number of minor improvements, like putting in Maxxfans in the cabover and bathroom vents, put in better reading lights over the beds, and was suggested by member Eagle5, I reversed the right closet door so that it opens right to left - and makes access to the closet possible with the slide out retracted, a highly recommended modification.

Again, congratulations on a great, fun rig. Maybe we’ll see you on the highway. Hope to make a trip up to Oregon later this fall. My colors are orange and black, so don’t expect me to stop there in your home town. Go Beavs!
