New owner 2013 Itasca Sunstar 26HE

Husband and I have upgraded to a newer RV than we had. Wish us luck. I ask if anybody with a similar RV, have you done anything to the pantry section to the right of the refrigerator to make it easy to see what you have in there. I hate the idea of having to check every can to find what I want. Have you somehow "renovated it" to make it easy.
Thank you, The Mooneys from NH.

Hello and welcome. Congrats on the new RV. I have not had any experience with remodeling the pantry, but I know that home improvement stores (and Amazon) have those sliding shelf units that can be installed. You'd have to take careful measurements to make sure the pre-fab units will fit.

TY so much for the info....my husband isn't a carpenter by profession, but he will check this out for me.

I hope you can find a solution; a pull-out pantry is really convenient. Check Lowes and Home Depot for cabinet organizers; most of them just install with screws. The critical factor is the measurements.

Would battery LED lights mounted/stuck in the cabinet help?

The drawers don't pull out...I would have to put my arm way in the back to get what I wanted. But, YOU have given me another modification I want. I guess he will have to remove the interior shelving and go with what Sarah W. suggests. My husband LOVES LEDs. He changed all the lights in our other RV. Makes a world of difference. TY for your suggestion

...that is why we joined....we are all in this together making suggestions. We also have a 1993 Winnebago Itasca but it was getting old, and he wanted something newer. My husband made great modifications on it. We plan on keeping it for day trips. This newer one fits our needs. Husband is 6'2 and fits in the shower. Everyone has been so helpful. TY againLarryW.
