New Owner - Retired Vet 2019 Sunstar 29VE

We just purchased our 2019 Winnebago Sunstar 29ve. Its new to us so I'm happy to find this group as so far YouTube has been my only friend. My wife and I are both seniors, so we look forward to some traveling and seeing this country starting with my home state of Texas.

That state will keep you busy. in enjoy the stockyards in FT Worth. My sister lives nearby so we stay at Holiday Park which is run by Army corps of engineers. Get your lifetime Parks pass for free for being a vet. gets you into a lot of parks. (https://store.usgs.gov/MilitaryPass). we tried to find Luckenbach TX and drove thru wine country. Welcome aboard and have fun. It's beautiful country. (sometimes the roads not so much)

Ted, if you drove through Wine Country into Fredericksburg you only missed Luckenbach by maybe a mile or so. It's just down a side road off of Hwy 290 just about a mile before you get to Fredericksburg.

Thanks for the heads up Ted. We did get the parks pass and so far we’ve been to about three state parks and looking forward to a longer trip soon.
