New to Rving - 2017 View

Hi I am Sherri and brand new to RVing. I purchased a View a few months ago and am getting ready for my first multi-month trip. I am starting from Madawaska, Maine (most northeast point in the US) and heading to Florida. I am so excited.

Can't wait to meet my Winnie family...

Sherri,
We are at the other end of your trip but travel to Maine and Canada annually (until this Covid stuff). To ease your travels, suggest considering getting an EZ Pass for your RV. I bought mine online from NH (best price and no monthly charges). It will save you time and money. Safe travels!
We travel in a 2015 View 24V. Any questions about the View or Florida, fire away!

Hello Sailorman76,

We leaving soon on our maiden voyage with our new Spirit (Class C 2 axles and double rear wheels from CT to Florida.

Can you tell me if we can take our EZ-Pass from our car and use it in the RV? We don't have time to order a new one by mail.

Are the tolls the same price for the RV as a car? just wanting to be sure we don't get into trouble going through the tolls with our car EZ-Pass.

thanks in advance,
MinnieSews

Not an expert, but believe EZ Pass is assigned to a specific vehicle. Best deal for you is to pick one up in MassDOT service center. No charge for transponder. May take 24 hours to activate.
