New Winnie owner - 2017 View 24G

Hello all,

I just picked up my first RV this weekend. A 2017 Winnebago View 24G. I look forward to learning from the community and contributing where I can.

Hi Jeff,
The 24G is a very cool floorplan. I have a neighbor a few blocks away who also has one, and the placement of the two slide-outs really make it spacious inside. She tells me she would never trade it for another.
You can find other comments for your motorhome by searching this site for 24G. If you like, Manuals & Diagrams can be found here.
Does yours have the dinette, or the couch?
Welcome to the forum.

I am glad it has the dinette. I also forgot to ask if you have one with "the hump?" That would be the over-cab sleeping area. My neighbor's 24G doesn't have the hump.

It does have the hump. Not sure how much use it will get since it is just my wife, the dogs, i using it. It will allow us to invite friends.

On the 747, the hump reduced the wind drag, and added lift. Perhaps your View will similarly benefit?
My dog Grace can pretty well take-up the whole bed, so when she does, I need a backup location.
Why do dogs always sleep sideways on the pillow?
Thanks, Eagle5
