Winnebago Vista

We have had several travel trailers but this is our first Class A. We’ve looked through the manuals and know a lot of it but there is a knob in the water section area that we can’t figure out what it is. It is an oval silver knob in the lower left area of the same compartment as the black water drain and the fresh water inlet are located. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello! On mine, that valve controls the freshwater, one setting is normal use and the other fills the freshwater tank. It’s dark here but if needed I can grab a picture tomorrow so you can see the settings, please let me know and welcome!

Hi Judy, what floorplan is your Vista? The only oval silver knob we have is to switch the fresh water between city water and tank fill. The black and grey holding tank drains are in a separate compartment. Maybe if you can post a pic it would help.

Yes, we know about the knob that switches the fresh water tank and the city water. This knob is to the extreme left side of the water service area and has a vertical tube. I would post a picture but I don’t know how thank you.

Low point drain and if water is in the tank, opening this valve dumps water almost straight down underneath.

For future picture posting, try going advanced, then at the top you will find a paper clip to attach pics from your computer!

See if that fits?

It is a valve that when open will drain most of the water out of your fresh water tank. Used to winterize or to get rid of bad water that you want to get rid of from your fresh water tank.

Sorry I aimed you in the wrong direction! On my Vista that item is in a different compartment and is a lever, I was positive it was your fresh water fill and maybe the label had come off.

Welcome to the forum!
