Purchased our 1st DP last fall and are preparing for our summer trip beginning mid May.
I’m looking for that “speed sweet spot” for the best fuel economy.
I’ve noticed on our “local” Florida trips (with and without towing), the transmission shifts to 6th gear at 65 mph and the tach drops to approximately 1650. At 60 mph (5th gear) the tach reads around 1900.
My thinking is highest gear/lowest rpm would be the spot I’m looking for?
Coincidentally, my toad (2013 GMC Terrain)...
